Our story
The Grazier’s Wife Skin Co. began on our family farm, in the coastal town of Yeppoon.
Life here is shaped by the land, the seasons, and the cattle we raise. It is a place where things are done slowly, with care, and with a deep respect for what we have.
This way of living is what led us here.
As graziers, we have always believed in using the whole animal. It is a responsibility we carry, and one that guides the way we farm. Tallow is a natural extension of that philosophy.
Long valued for its nourishing properties, it is rich, simple, and deeply compatible with the skin. We began making it for our own family - wanting something honest, effective, and free from unnecessary complexity.
What started in our home has grown into something we are proud to share.
A Responsibility We Take Seriously. The way animals are raised matters.
Our cattle are grass-fed and finished, living in a natural environment and managed with care and intention. We work with the land, not against it - focusing on practices that support soil health, pasture regeneration, and long-term sustainability.
This is not a supply chain we’ve bought into. These are our animals, on our land, under our care.
What Makes ours different
Our tallow does not come from unknown sources.
It comes from cattle we raise ourselves, on land we actively manage and improve. Every step, from paddock to finished product, is handled by us.
There is a direct line from origin to outcome. Nothing outsourced. Nothing unknown. Nothing rushed. That level of accountability is rare and it matters.
We believe in a slower approach to skincare. One that values quality over quantity. Simplicity over excess. And a genuine connection to where things come from.
